TSG - Barb SuttonBRISTOL, TN (April 4, 2019) – Brandon Brown, Brandonbilt Motorsports (BMS) and the No. 86 team are ready for the ‘Last Great Colosseum’ in Bristol Motor Speedway. Brown and BMS have one previous start at the track in NASCAR Xfinity Series, starting 38th and finishing 25th in just their 10th career start in the series. Most recently the team finished 17th at Texas Motor Speedway on March 30th bringing the average finish to 15.8 on the year and holding Brown in a solid 14th place in the points standings.

The different grooves around Bristol accompanied with 15-second lap times make the track a task like none-other. Brown when asked about Bristol Motor Speedway said “It is a task like no other, not only is it a race that you have to focus on your speed but the short track racing style, because aren’t sure if someone owes you payback. This is very close quarter short track racing where typically fenders are used more often than not to get by the competition. I look forward to it because it is what I have grown up doing but at the same time these are the races outside of super speedways that carry a lot of risk. Not only because of the fender usage but the amount of rookies that will be involved in the race because the cup regulars are not allowed to fill the field. But I am looking forward to the challenge and I hope we find success.” For the 5th time in 2019, BMS is joined by Coastal Carolina University, Wix Filters, Safety-Kleen, Mechanix Wear and Sherwin Williams aboard the No. 86 Chevrolet.
