JOLIET, IL (June 29, 2019) – The NASCAR Xfinity Series, Brandonbilt Motorsports and driver Brandon Brown head back to the MidWest this weekend with a lot of unknowns. The Series is making its yearly trip to the Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet, IL, a track that nobody in the organization has been to before. Following an unfortunate motor failure at Iowa – Brandonbilt Motorsports took the off-week to shake off the bad luck and prepare to regain the momentum it had at the beginning of the 2019 season.

The car (#051) has been run twice thus far in 2019, at Dover and again at Pocono. The No. 86 team finished 13th in both of those events. The NASCAR Xfinity Series is also heading back to a 1.5 mile track for the first time since Charlotte one month ago. Brown said “…heading to these new tracks is always a challenge, especially when it’s a new car and a mile-and-a-half which we have to be realistic about our opportunities… I expect a top-15 for our guys, once we get the balance we want and I get comfortable at the new track we will be good, a lot of iRacing leading up to this week.”

Note: The annual change of broadcasting channels has taken place, NASCAR Xfinity Series broadcasts will now be on the NBC Family for the remainder of 2019.
