Dover, DE- (October 3, 2019) – Miles, The Monster; mascot of Dover Speedway welcomes the NASCAR Xfinity Series October 4th and 5th for the Use Your Melon Drive Sober 200. The track features a 1 mile (1.6 km) concrete oval, with 24° banking in the turns and 9° banking on the straights. This track allows the drivers to showcase their talents for the entire 200 laps on this fast short track.

Brandon Brown will take the wheel this weekend in the #86 JABS Construction Chevrolet Camaro. This is his 5th start at Dover Raceway with a 13th place finish being his best. When asked about the upcoming race, Brown had this to say. “I am looking forward to my favorite track of the racing circuit this weekend at Dover Speedway. I love the short track style racing with the high speeds from the banked concrete track!”

Last week’s trip to the Charlotte ROVAL was a challenging weekend for the driver and team after a brake rotor failure on Lap 2 of the first practice. Commenting on last weekend’s events, Brown said “We were able to make repairs to the car, but it cost us the entire practice day. We were able to make some practice laps during the qualifying session so I could familiarize myself with the track that I had never been to before, which put us in the 35th starting position. Being able to come back and rally to a top 20 finish was very rewarding and something I needed as a confidence booster.”
