NEWTON, IA (June 16, 2019) – The NASCAR Xfinity Series is the premier NASCAR Series this weekend, racing Sunday, at Iowa Speedway in Newton, IA. Following an unfortunate ending in Michigan, the No. 86 Brandonbilt Motorsports Vero Camaro is ready to avenge the mishap this Sunday. This weekend’s Circuit City 250 is the 14th race in the 33-week 2019 schedule. Iowa Speedway is also home of the National Series debut of Brandonbilt Motorsports and our driver Brandon Brown.

Brown has been to Iowa in the Xfinity Series one time and it was forgotten about the moment the checkered flag flew, starting 38th and finishing 29th. With the team’s improvements this season, Brandon has more confidence as they head into the Newton area race track.

Reflecting on previous experiences at Iowa Speedway Brown said, “I have been there once with a very new team in the NASCAR Gander Outdoor truck series, where I made my debut. I raced a second time with Brandonbilt Motorsports in our NASCAR Xfinity debut. Being new to the series and new to how the cars handle, as well as adding the caliber of drivers I was competing against, lead to a race full of mistakes.  On top of that, somehow we felt we couldn’t find speed.  This weekend the BMS team and I are looking to change that.”

For the third time this session, Brown and the No. 86 team will have support from Vero – True Social in a black, teal and white Chevrolet Camaro. “Once again I cannot thank Vero for the support they are giving to myself and my team. I am looking forward to giving them a real show and hopefully make a trip to victory lane,” said Brown.
