FORT WORTH, TX (March 29, 2019) – Brandon Brown and Brandonbilt Motorsports (BMS) travel to a track they’ve been to before. This is their third trip to the Lone Star state and Texas Motor Speedway.  With an off weekend and the West Coast swing behind the team, it’s now time to look beyond the 15th place finishes at ISM Raceway and Auto Club Speedway.

The beauty of having been to Texas before allows for the team to focus on making the car faster right off of the truck as opposed to attempting to learn the track the first few laps on track.  Believe it or not, these 30-40 minutes are crucial to making the car faster, driver more comfortable and the weekend run smoother from start-to-finish.  The last time Brown and the Adam Brenner led crew went to Texas Motor Speedway they ended up 18th and (at the time) was the best finish at a track 1.5 miles in length or longer.  They have since finished 13th at Atlanta and 15th at Fontana to best those numbers. This week BMS welcomes Funderburk HVAC to the team in Texas as an associate partner, Funderburk joins Coastal Carolina University, Wix Filters, Safety-Kleen, Mechanix Wear and Sherwin Williams aboard the No. 86.

Brown said “I am excited to have Funderburk HVAC on board at Texas. This was super last minute and as everybody knows it takes a lot to get to these tracks and every little bit helps so I am thankful to the Funderburk Family for their support. About the race this weekend, I am super excited to get back to the track, the off-week was much needed after the west coast and I am confident BMS will continue their strong runs.”
